"Be sure to bring an open mind and expect to find a modern art exhibition usually found only in large metropolitan cities," states Project Creo director Melissa Christiano. From technology based installations to multi-medium performances, Convergence examines the collaborative process as a buffer against society's current isolationist tendencies. Despite current fears that the rapid proliferation of computer-based daily tasks and entertainment options is creating a world of insular niches, Convergence profoundly illustrates how technology can bring both artists and patrons together, throwing aside linguistic or geographic barriers.

Many of the artists exhibiting at Project Creo will be on hand to present their collaborations and guide the public in an interactive experience through their pieces.

The mission of Project Creo is to facilitate experimentation, collaboration and dialogue in contemporary art and design practice, provide an exhibition space for emerging artists and designers, provide educational opportunities, and foster an appreciation for the vital role that art and design play in our community.
