Joseph Weinzettle
received his MFA from the University of Mississippi and his BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. Joseph is an active exhibiting artist and framemaker, as well as being a Painting and Drawing instructor with diverse research interests. In 2007, he received a Pinellas County Cultural Affairs Grant to research Gothic silverpoint drawing. Joseph was also awarded three Puffin Foundation Grants for art exploring African culture and history. He has oil paintings, collages and drawings in numerous private collections.
