Herb Snitzer
graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art and soon after moved to New York City, where he quickly established himself as a successful young photojournalist. Herb was worked for Life, Look, The Saturday Evening Post, Fortune, Time, and other national magazines as well as the New York Times and the Herald Tribune. As Photographer and Associate Editor of America's leading jazz magazine, Metronome, he met, photographed, and became friends with most of the great jazz musicians of the era. Herb is also the author of five books, including his most recent publication, Jazz: A Visual Journey, published by Notables, Inc.
