This website had a short article published about Digital Architectural Photography, which is the subject of one of their educational classes.

The reason why anyone who's interested digital architectural photography would need to attend classes is that one needs to be taught about certain useful tips. It would take a long time for a photographer to discover these secrets all by himself or herself and usually, nobody is particularly keen on re-inventing the wheel. For instance it is important to learn how to give old buildings some space; how, sometimes it is essential to step back and just use the telephoto lens; when to include and when not to include certain items like a fence, for instance; when to choose to photograph people so as to make it obvious that a building can be used a certain way and so on and so forth.
