Enrollment is limited and spaces are filled on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Students are responsible for obtaining and providing materials for classes unless otherwise noted. You will receive a confirmation notice once your registration is processed and before the start date of your class, workshop, or camp. Signed parental consent is required for high school students participating in life drawing courses in which a model is used. about workshopsWorkshops are special events held only on dates specified. Tuition covers only the event or events scheduled. about dazzio classesScheduled monthly, year-round. Half-day classes are taught by Libit Jones. Full-day classes are taught by Judi Dazzio and may be entered by talking to Judi and when an opening occurs. Advanced and professional classes are by invitation. If you are a new student interested in advanced study, please call The Arts Center to arrange an interview with Judi. In order to keep your space, your registration must be received before the first of each month. Class sizes are limited. No refunds or proration of fees. Tuition covers a month-long registration. about PEL classesThe Arts Center offers selected classes for college credit through Eckerd College's Program for Experienced Learners (PEL). For-credit classes can be identified by the initials PEL in the class title. For more information regarding tuition, financial aid, and registration materials, contact: Program for Experience Learners to make a class suggestionContact the Arts Center with all your ideas for new classes. cancellations & refundsThe Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment without incurring obligations. If a class is cancelled, you may transfer to another class or request a full tuition refund. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment seven days prior to the start date, it will be cancelled. Please register promptly! Withdrawal from any class, workshop, or camp must take place one week (7 days) prior to the start date of the program. A full tuition refund will be issued less a 15% administrative fee. A 50% credit will be issued toward a future class, workshop, camp, or a gift shop purchase for withdrawals taking place during the week preceding the start of a program. Credit valid up to one year. Once a program has begun, no refunds or credits will be issued. emergenciesEmergency closing may occur in the event of severe weather conditions. parental consentStudents of high school age may take most adult classes, but parental consent is required for high school students participating in life drawing courses. make-up classesMake-up classes will be scheduled if a class is cancelled by the Arts Center. If a student is unable to attend class for any reason, the Arts Center is not responsible to provide any additional make-up class or refund. transfersStudents may transfer to another class upon instructor approval providing class space is available. Transfers must be made before the second class and under the Education Department's approval. non-profit statusThe Arts Center is a not-for-profit community arts organization and we welcome students of all creeds and ethnic origins. |
